In July me and my partner visited Suite Princess Hotel in Gran Canaria for 10 nights. This all-inclusive adults only resort definitely lived up to it’s expectations.
This was the perfect couples getaway and ticked all the boxes for us.
I loved this hotel so much that I recommended it to my parents, who went here shortly after we did. The hotel is perfect for couples of all ages.
Our room was the Deluxe Junior Suite with Sea View and Balcony. The room as definitely the biggest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. Due to its location facing the ocean every suite boasts amazing sea views. There’s 304 rooms so to say that every single one of them has a sea view, is incredible! Usually a sea room view comes at an extra cost, but not at this hotel.
The room felt like our own large flat! (and I say large, because we currently live in a very small one!)
To me and I’m sure many others, the food is the most important part of the holiday. Breakfast was served in the main restaurant, which was buffet style. I opted for pancakes and lots of melted warm chocolate most days.
Here it felt like food was always served throughout the day. There was always something you could grab. Even when dinner was being prepared they would have snacks out. Not to mention how delicious the food was…serving a different cuisine each night. My favourite was the Mexican night.
The large outdoor pool saved us from the 30 degree heat and was never too busy. Also every morning there would be a water aerobics class at around 10:30am. Can’t say I ever did it! Instead just watched everybody else do it while I sat on my sun lounger.
We decided to treat ourselves to a relaxing massage. I’ve been meaning to book a massage for so long to see what all the fuss was about and it sure did relax me! There were loads of different massages to choose from, I decided to focus on my back and head, where as my partner chose to be massaged on his back and legs. We had a couple’s deal for 80 euros, which lasted for 50 minutes. The massage room was outside and is set away from the pool area, so all we could hear were the waves crashing. Very worth it!
Nearby was also a gym, which I did hope to use but never did in the end.
The bar located downstairs by the pool, offering pretty much everything you expect from a Spanish bar. We drank a lot of cocktails, with our new favourite being a Irish Redhead. Every night after dinner there would be entertainment, which had a more chill-vibe than a party one.
BOOKING THE HOTEL
I recommend booking through Tui, as they offer the best package deals for this hotel and most of the time they have deals such as 30% off, or £100 off too. We firstly did book through Booking.com until I was browsing the Tui website one day and realised it would be cheaper for us to go through them instead.
