5 Positive Things #6 – November

Here are 5 positive things from November! I have had so much fun this month! I’m finally starting to find my feet again. I feel at my happiest and healthiest all year.

Festive vibes.

My Christmas tree is officially up and decorated, my cards are written and presents are wrapped. I just love the excitement November brings. Christmas definitely feels earlier this year!


New job.

I found a job that I love, somewhere I have enjoyed visiting most my life. It seems the most ‘perfect’ job for me right now was right in front of me all along.


Healthy eating.

I am so inspired lately by where I work. Most days now I enjoy eggs and avocado toast which I make at home, I’m swapping fries for sweet potato mash, semi-skimmed milk for almond/coconut milk and fruit and peanut butter loaded smoothies for breakfast/snack. I have had such a love/hate relationship with food over the years, but I have fell in-love with eating!


Cosy nights in.

Maybe I’m 80 years old at heart but I can’t think of anything better this time of year than spending my nights snuggled up on the sofa watching I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! With a coconut hot chocolate in hand and and avocado mask on my face. Sounds perfect to me.



For those that know me in real life will know my struggles I have faced this year and my ongoing fight with anxiety. Most of my anxious thoughts were about my job/not finding one I enjoyed. This month it’s as almost as if I have woken up from a nightmare, as I feel so happy in my job right now my anxiety level is 0. For me this is a massive step forwards and my number one aim all year.
