5 Positive Things #4 – September

Another month is almost over, which means it’s time for another ‘Positive Things’ post!

If you’re new here, towards the end of each month I list 5 positive things that have happened during the month.

To be honest, September has been a bad month for me. Not as in anything drastic has happened, but I’ve been having really bad episodes of anxiety & depression and it’s really taken a toll on my work and life. This is why I do like to take time out to think of the positive things that have happened this month, because although at the time it doesn’t feel like a lot is positive at the moment, there is always something to be grateful for.

Time with friends.

This month has definitely been the most time I’ve spent with friends all year. I have loved having chats over coffee and cocktails. Needless to say it has really helped having good friends to talk to during what feels like the worst time of my life so far!

Getting back behind the lens.

This month I picked up my camera again! My Instagram and blog was in need of some TLC, so I decided it was time to get snapping. I’m currently planning pictures and posts for Instagram for October. Hopefully I can get back into Instagram again as my engagement has really gone down since I stopped travelling.

Gym time.

This month has been my most active month at the gym, ever! I’ve really enjoyed relaxing in the pool and doing all my yoga classes. Plus a late night workout always makes me feel good.

Take That tickets!

Well if you are unaware, Take That announced they are going on tour next year. Oh boy. This means I better get my ass to work and earn some cash, cos when Take That tour it also means I go on a lot of trips away! Tickets go on sale next week, so if that isn’t something for me to be positive about then I don’t know what is!

Calm app.

I have really been using and abusing my calm app this month. I love to meditate in the morning and at night, plus I’ve been listening to the masterclasses which I have found really useful. Also the music features are great to play whilst you’re in the shower or bath to help you relax!

So there we go. A few positive things that I have really appreciated this month. Sadly it took me a long time to think! How has your September been?
