2018: A Look Back

When I think of 2018, I think of extreme anxiety, sadness, regret and heartbreak. But of course, there is always something to celebrate.

The experience I’ve gained in 2018 has been a life lesson. I spent most of the year searching for a job that I felt happy in, when all along it was right in front of me.

I’m certainly heading into 2019 a much stronger, confident and happier girl than I started out in 2018, and for that, I couldn’t be more grateful.

Here are some of the highlights from 2018…

Becoming Auntie.

February was the month my nephew Archie Bray was born.

Moving into a new home.

June was the month I moved out of my family home and officially started adulting.

I bought a bunny, Florida.

A new addition to my little family.

I started writing again.

I started my blog from scratch and my engagement and traffic increased, too.

I took a couple of road trips to Bournemouth.

Ah, I just love Bournemouth!

I left a job that was making me unhappy.

I found a job that I love and it gives me a more positive lifestyle and I met a lot of new people too.

Not much happened in 2018, but I got through some of the darkest roads I have ever been down. And for that, I’m so grateful that I am still here.
